Our integrated approach allows us to streamline projects from start to finish, building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry professionals across the Wellington region. We pride ourselves on flexibility, collaboration, and thinking outside the box to provide the right tools, resources, and expertise for every job—whether it’s for private homeowners, corporations, or government agencies.

What plans do you have for the future growth or development of your business?

Tier 1 is strategically growing its operations by expanding its concrete division and building internal capacity to meet rising demand. The company is strengthening relationships with key clients such as Wellington Water, Porirua City Council, and NZ Police, while deepening engagement with iwi and local communities. With a strong base in Porirua and Wellington, Tier 1 is targeting regional project opportunities across the Lower North Island. The business remains committed to high standards of safety and compliance through certifications like Amotai, Tōtika, and IMPAC Prequal. Tier 1 also champions sustainable, inclusive growth by supporting local employment and partnering with Māori and Pasifika businesses.

Why did you join the Porirua Chamber of Commerce?

Tier 1 has joined the Porirua Chamber of Commerce to strengthen our connections within the local business community and to demonstrate our commitment to supporting Porirua’s growth and development. As a company with deep ties to the region and a strong focus on community-led, culturally aligned projects, Chamber membership allows us to align with like-minded organisations, stay informed on local opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to regional conversations. It also enhances our visibility in the public and private sectors—particularly with local councils and agencies—while supporting our goal to grow sustainably, create local employment, and continue delivering high-quality civil infrastructure projects.
