Supporting the growth and development of local business, enhancing public spaces and reviving the city’s heart Porirua is undergoing a Revitalisation in partnership with the Porirua City Council and the Porirua Chamber of Commerce.
The vision for the city centre is to provide exciting new attractions for the community to enjoy that will benefit local businesses, offer a wider range of jobs, bring inner city living to the CBD, and create a city vibe in the heart of Porirua.
This will involve a large financial commitment from Council over a 10 year period to help produce an environment that supports investment, develops public spaces, and further develops infrastructure, to attract businesses to the city centre.
