Kenepuru Drive update
We’ve been working with Porirua City Council to ensure that the views of business in relation to transport and other issues in Kenepuru are taken into account as part of future planning – particularly in view of the significant development planned in the area.
The Council has now collated, and GIS mapped all the information from our Kenepuru Drive workshop. This has been sent out to those who attended the workshop to comment on. If you haven’t received it, please contact Matt Grant at matt.grant@poriruacity.govt.nz.
Traffic counting and Kenepuru Area Study
You may have noticed that traffic counting has taken place recently in the Kenepuru area (tubes across the roads and camera boxes at intersections). This will provide up-to-date traffic information which will feed into Council research looking at the transport implications of the development that is starting to happen in the Kenepuru area.
Next steps
Council will update us on the results of the research and next steps in August.
