MEMBERS BENEFIT - THE LOCK DOCTOR
As a fellow member of the Porirua Chamber of Commerce, The Lock Doctor have a special deal for you that will not only save you some money, but will assist you in ensuring that your business is adequately protected in these difficult times we’re working through and allow you the opportunity to support another local business.
Most businesses have a monitored security system in place; however, many can’t recall the last time their system had a decent service to check that all sensors are operating properly and that their back up battery is going to do its job in the event of a power failure (whether this is by way of fault or criminal intent).
As a Porirua Chamber member we would like to offer you a security system service for only $85.00 and to sweeten the pie a little, we’ll throw in a FREE back up battery valued at $65.00.
Our hope is that on taking up this offer you allow us to monitor your system. Our charge for this service is the industry standard $30 per month, but again, because we don’t expected that people are going to change just purely out of the goodness of their own hearts; we’ll throw in the first 6 MONTHS FREE saving you $180!
That’s a total saving of $245 just for supporting a local Porirua Business/fellow Chamber member.
If you have recently had your system serviced, or don’t feel that it needs it, we’ll still give you 3 months free monitoring valued at $90.
There are other advantages to having The Lock Doctor Alarms be your provider of security solutions and I’d love the opportunity to talk to you about this in more detail. For more information email scott@thelockdoctor.co.nz

Venus Club
The Venus Club is a referral community designed exclusively for women who are serious about growing both their businesses and their networks, Venus Club is a cost effect marketing option for women in a variety of occupations for example running their own business, in a profession or sole operators.
The philosophy of “give and you shall receive” in the context of Venus Club means that ‘if I give you referrals, you will give me referrals and we both benefit.” Everyone knows how valuable word-of-mouth referrals are in business so marketing ones business through personal recommendations makes a lot of sense if it can be arranged. It is the most reliable, rewarding and least expensive way of building sales for business.
Venus Club makes it work by getting together every fortnight for a 60 minute formal meeting that provides an opportunity for members to educate one another about their businesses, what makes them unique and what a good referral looks like. There are only 20 members in any Venus Club at one time and during each fortnight they are on the lookout for business opportunities for every other member of their club. Members recommend the services of other members and these opportunities (referrals) are passed on. Just imagine the benefit of having 20 women raving about you and your business to their own networks! Venus Club membership creates just that scenario; it can transform a struggling business into a thriving one just from the exchange of high quality referrals. Businesswomen are invited to experience a Venus Club meeting free as a guest.
Venus Club is not part of the Porirua Chamber of Commerce, but the Chamber supports the concept of a womens networking group. To register for your free visit or to find out more visit their website www.venusclubs.co.nz
