Mayoral Showcase of Porirua Expo 2012!
After the success of last year’s event, we’re doing it again – bigger and better than ever!
The 2012 Showcase takes place on Saturday April 28, from 10am – 4pm at Te Rauparaha Arena. The main stadium features the Business Expo, while around the rest of the venue there will be a kids market, bouncy castles, interactive displays, crafts, food and more!
This time round, the entire Arena and surrounding area will be jam packed with activities and fun. There really will be something for everyone!
Business Expo stands are limited, so make sure you secure yours now. Expo stands cost $300 per business. Here’s the details:
- Your stand includes a back panel and small side walls – black and Velcro receptive. We also provide a trestle table if you require one, and power on the same basis.
- Your stand is 3 metres wide, 2 metres deep, and the back wall is 2.3m high.
- Set up of your stand is on Friday 27 April, between 12pm and 5pm.
- From 5pm – 7pm we’ll be hosting a business to business function, giving you a chance to interact with the other standholders and invited guests, with a business focus.
- On Saturday 28th April, doors open at 10am, and close at 4pm. Pack down follows.
- This year, you are able to trade. We’re working on providing you some great deals on additional equipment (lighting, furniture, and EFTPOS) and will be sending these out to standholders over the coming weeks.
- Full information on how to make the most of your stand, any restrictions and additional opportunities will be provided to standholders, helping you get real benefits out of this event.

If you are not currently a member of Porirua Chamber of Commerce, you’ll be required to join to secure your stand. Our membership fee is only $179 per year and we provide a wide range of opportunities, so it’s a worthwhile investment!
